Rare primitive cupboard, Carpathians, circa 1850, early construction, built from sawn or hewn beech wood. Two shelves on the inside. This is a cupboard from a very modest home in the highlands. It is a small miracle that this cupboard has survived. The iron handle was added at a later stage.
