oak tridarn cabinet, circa 1710

A fine early 18th century (circa 1710) oak tridarn cabinet, made in Wales in 3 sections. The cabinet has a moulded cornice above an open space above three panel cabinet doors. The upper section was used to display tin plates etc. The lower section has two panel doors on stilt feet. The cabinet has a lovely rich gold colour and patina. In beautiful original condition and with original backs. With original locks and hinges. A fine example of Welsh history.
