French antique garden bench, park bench with cast iron base and (new) pine boards. The branch-shaped cast iron base comes from the Art Nouveau period around 1890.
These benches were very popular at the time, the organic shapes imitating a branch are typical of that time, so they were often found in parks and in more luxurious gardens.
